Ms. Ngo Minh Uyen Thao - Head of the Department of Agricultural Product Quality and Rural Development of the province said that the province currently has many key agricultural, forestry and fishery products such as dragon fruit with an area of over 25,800 hectares, an output of about 560,000 tons/year, 23 billion post-larvae shrimp, an output of about 239,600 tons of marine exploitation, and nearly 96,000 tons of processed seafood/year...
In addition, Binh Thuan also has a variety of dragon fruit products such as: dried, soft-dried, rice paper, seed oil, juice, wine... and other crops such as rice, cashew, melon, grapes, apples, longan, durian...

Leaders of the Department of Agricultural Product Quality and Rural Development of the province shared information on local agricultural, forestry and fishery products.
Up to now, the province has 180 valid OCOP products, including 7 4-star products and 173 3-star products, from 117 entities including cooperatives, enterprises and production and business households. In recent times, the province has proactively organized conferences to connect supply and demand, put products on e-commerce platforms, and participated in programs to connect supply and demand between provinces and cities nationwide.


On the side of Tien Giang province, the province shares its strengths in developing concentrated fruit growing areas for export such as: green-skinned grapefruit, Cat Hoa Loc mango, passion fruit and typical products such as rice, Chinese sausage, chili sauce, products processed from cordyceps...
Representatives of Tien Giang enterprises and cooperatives wish to expand cooperation and promote agricultural product consumption in Binh Thuan market, while seeking opportunities for long-term and sustainable trade connections.
The two sides also exchanged experiences in state management of market development and trade promotion for OCOP products. At the same time, they affirmed to strengthen cooperation and connection in the consumption of agricultural products and typical OCOP products between cooperatives and enterprises of the two localities in the coming time.
