Awarding 13 scholarships for the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school"

Accordingly, implementing the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school", Binh Thuan Border Guard has sponsored and supported 13 students who are ethnic minorities, in difficult circumstances, have good academic achievements and are currently living in localities in the coastal border area of ​​the province.

From the Project, each sponsored student will receive support of 7.4 million VND/school year. Of which, support for meals is 5.4 million VND and support for purchasing supplies and learning materials is 2 million VND.

At the program, the leaders of the Binh Thuan Border Guard Command awarded 13 scholarships, each worth 7.4 million VND, to 13 students sponsored by the project. This is the amount of money for the second semester of the 2023-2024 school year and the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year that the Project supports for the students.

It is known that along with sponsoring 13 students under the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school", Binh Thuan Border Guard is currently sponsoring 40 students under the program "Helping children go to school" with a support amount of 4.5 million VND/child/school year. Along with that, every year the unit also mobilizes donors to support dozens of bicycles and hundreds of sets of clothes and books to give to students in difficult circumstances in the coastal border area under its responsibility, contributing to adding motivation, helping poor students have better learning conditions, thereby striving to achieve many high achievements in their studies.
