Provincial Red Cross Society awards scholarships to studious students in difficult circumstances

STO - On the morning of June 4, at the Chau Hung Commune Cultural House, the Soc Trang Provincial Red Cross Society organized a scholarship awarding program for students who have overcome difficulties and are studious at Chau Hung Secondary School, Chau Hung Commune, Thanh Tri District (Soc Trang). Attending the event were comrade Thai Kim Phuong - Vice President of the Provincial Red Cross Society; leaders of the Thanh Tri District Red Cross Society and local authorities.

At the program, the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students from disadvantaged families with good academic performance, and presented a set of drums and 900 notebooks to students of Chau Hung Secondary School.

The scholarships awarded to students have practical meaning, timely encouragement, motivation for them to strive, overcome difficulties, continue to study hard, and achieve higher results in the new school year.
