The Provincial Veterans Association works with the Luc Yen Commune Veterans Association

At the meeting, the leaders of the War Veterans Association of Luc Yen commune reported on the association's activities and the difficulties and problems after the merger and implementation of the two-level local government.

Luc Yen Commune Veterans Association has 44 branches/44 villages with 1,131 members. Immediately after the merger, the Commune Veterans Association proactively built and issued new working regulations, assigned tasks to comrades in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee; built and issued the Association's work program for the last 6 months of the year; issued decisions to recognize the Veterans Association branches, appointed the position of branch heads of the villages; built the work to welcome the 1st Congress of Luc Yen Commune Party Committee (term 2025-2030); prepared conditions to successfully organize the 1st Congress of the Commune Veterans Association (term 2025-2030) according to the guidance of the Provincial Veterans Association.

In coordination with the Social Policy Bank, the Luc Yen Commune Veterans Association has done a good job of receiving trust. The Luc Yen Commune Veterans Association is managing 12 savings and loan groups, with a total outstanding loan balance of over 25 billion VND. Through preferential capital, many members have boldly invested in developing livestock, crop, production, business and service models to increase income, improve life and contribute to local economic development.

However, with a large number of members and a wide area of operation, the Luc Yen Commune Veterans Association faces some difficulties in grasping the thoughts and aspirations of members, as well as organizing activities at the branches.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Trung Thai acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Luc Yen Commune War Veterans Association in recent activities.

He suggested that in the coming time, the Luc Yen Commune Veterans Association should continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively participate in local movements and activities, especially focusing on propaganda work and implementing tasks to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. Review and supplement plans to meet the requirements and tasks of the association; promote the core role in social supervision and criticism; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of preferential loan sources.
