Go Dau District Women's Union: Many outstanding activities in the first 6 months of 2025

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Women's Union at all levels of Go Dau district has implemented many exciting, practical and effective activities, contributing to improving the spiritual and material life of female members, while affirming the role and position of women in participating in Party, government and community building.

The emulation movement " Tay Ninh women are confident, responsible and progressive" continues to be concretized and widely deployed in 9/9 communes and towns. The Women's Union at all levels has organized more than 1,500 communication sessions, attracting more than 31,700 women to participate; applying information technology to propaganda through online games such as "Picking democratic flowers", "Ringing the golden bell", "Catching the word by the picture" ... contributing to innovating the method of approaching members, attracting a large number of women to participate.

Responding to the special emulation campaign to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Women's Union at all levels registered and completed 26 meaningful projects and tasks such as: hardening rural roads, building flower roads, "National Flag Road", border markets, giving gifts and supporting capital for members in difficulty... The total value of the projects is estimated at billions of VND.

The program “Accompanying women in the border areas” continues to be effectively implemented. The District Women’s Union has coordinated to organize “Zero-dong stalls”, border markets, and presented scholarships and gifts to ethnic minority women and women in difficult circumstances with a total value of more than 100 million VND.

In particular, activities to commend and promote typical examples continued to be promoted, with 38 outstanding collectives and individuals being honored.

The campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" and the movement "Go Dau women join hands to build new countryside" were effectively implemented with 10 projects implemented, with a total value of nearly 490 million VND.

The Association continues to maintain many social security support models such as: "Piggy Bank of Love", "Rice Jar of Love", "Women's Saving Group to Buy Health Insurance", "Cooking Service", "Family Babysitting Group", "Green Savings" model, "Anti-Plastic Waste", "Women Living Green"...

Phuoc Thanh Commune Women's Union grants interest-free capital to women in difficult circumstances.

During the Lunar New Year 2025 alone, the Association at all levels mobilized nearly 1.5 billion VND to care for members and poor women. Many activities imbued with traditional culture such as banh tet wrapping contest, food fair, karaoke contest, visiting the elderly, retired female cadres, religions... were carefully organized, spreading the spirit of humanity.

The District Women's Union continues to sponsor 33 children in special circumstances, organizes communication to prevent domestic violence and child abuse. Health care for women and children is focused on with activities such as vaccination, gynecological examination, family planning propaganda...

In addition, support models for women with disabilities such as providing livelihoods, giving gifts, maintaining the "Binh Minh Self-Reliant" group... continue to bring practical results, contributing to helping women stabilize their lives and become self-reliant.
