Meeting with Thailand in Da Nang

On the morning of September 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the People's Committee of Da Nang City to organize the Meeting with Thailand Conference. Attending the Conference were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang; Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City Wiraka Moodhitaporn. On the Da Nang City side, there was Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh.

Meeting with Thailand in Da Nang

The Meeting with Thailand Conference in Da Nang was attended by more than 300 delegates, including leaders of several central ministries/sectors, leaders of localities in the Central and Southern regions, leading corporations/organizations of Thailand, and numerous businesses from both countries. The conference included two discussion sessions: Sustainable tourism development and Promoting investment connectivity and supply chain integration. This is an opportunity for policy makers and the business community to discuss, share and propose strategic solutions to facilitate stakeholders to participate more deeply in the supply chain, promoting production and consumption of goods. Da Nang hopes that after this Conference, many Thai partners and businesses will come to explore investment and business cooperation opportunities in Da Nang.
