15th Conference of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 13th Term

On the afternoon of December 15th in Hanoi, the 15th Conference of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 13th term, was held.

The report presented at the conference indicated that 2025 will be the year when the entire political system focuses on implementing the Resolutions and Conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on reorganizing administrative units and streamlining the apparatus. This includes the Women's Union at all levels operating under the new organizational structure, directly under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, while still ensuring relative independence and playing a core role in women's affairs, gender equality, and building national unity.

In this context, in 2025, women's associations at all levels nationwide seriously implemented the new organizational model, ensuring ideological stability among cadres and members; complying with the merger into the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , maintaining a proactive spirit and continuing to implement activities, ensuring the progress and quality of work according to plan; proactively studying new documents and assigned tasks, quickly adapting to and resolving issues; demonstrating a determination to innovate the content and methods of operation and the proactive and creative spirit of women's associations nationwide, including the pioneering role and close attention to the grassroots of the members of the Presidium and the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 13th term…

In 2025, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union successfully organized the 95th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union, received the First-Class Labor Medal, held the 5th National Emulation Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union, and awarded the Vietnam Women's Prize 2025. This event had profound political significance, creating a strong ripple effect in society; it inspired the spirit of emulation, creativity, and the aspiration to contribute among female cadres and members, affirming the position and role of the Union.

Immediately after the event, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union promptly received the directives of General Secretary To Lam regarding the 10 key orientations for the Union's organization, and concretized them into the content of the documents for the Women's Congress at all levels…

Within the framework of the conference, important draft documents for the coming period, such as the draft plan for organizing the 14th National Congress of Women's Representatives in 2026 and the draft resolution "Propagating and mobilizing the implementation of population and development work, and healthcare for women and children in the period 2026 - 2030"... were presented for discussion.
