Conference agreed on the content of the 25th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council

On the morning of February 7, the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council held a conference to agree on the content, composition, time and venue of the 25th session (Special Session) of the 19th Provincial People's Council. Comrade Lam Thi Huong Thanh - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were comrades: Nghiem Xuan Huong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Phan The Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; relevant departments, branches and units.

The 25th session of the Provincial People's Council is expected to be held at the Provincial Convention Center on February 19, 2025. The session will consider and approve a number of draft Resolutions such as: Resolution on supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period; supplementing the public investment plan to support the implementation of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period from the central budget reserve in 2024; Resolution on arranging and streamlining the apparatus of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; Resolution on assigning additional teacher payrolls for the 2024-2025 school year; assigning civil servant and public employee payrolls to agencies and units after the arrangement of administrative units and streamlining the apparatus; Resolution stipulating a number of policies to attract and support the training of human resources in Bac Giang province, period 2025-2030;...

At the conference, delegates basically agreed on the content, composition, time and venue of the 25th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council. Some delegates emphasized the need to study and separate the Resolution on supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period; supplementing the public investment plan to support the implementation of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period from the central budget reserve in 2024 into 02 Resolutions to ensure clarity and scientificity .

Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Concluding the conference, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Lam Thi Huong Thanh requested the Provincial People's Committee to update, regularly monitor and revise relevant draft resolutions after the 9th extraordinary session of the National Assembly . Directing specialized agencies to promptly complete and finalize the dossier for comments, and transfer it to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to assign the Provincial People's Council Committees to appraise and verify.

The Provincial People's Council Committees shall preside over and advise the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation to coordinate in appraising and examining draft resolutions. Proactively coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to promptly transfer completed documents for delegates to study.

The Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council monitors and urges to ensure good appraisal and examination activities of the Provincial People's Council Committees; ensuring conditions for organizing the session./.
