The Military Party Committee of Ha Quang district held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 689-NQ/QUTW, dated October 10, 2014 of the Central Military Commission on prevention, control, and overcoming consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, and search and rescue.

Over the past 10 years, the Ha Quang District Military Party Committee has directed 21 communes and towns to conduct drills, closely coordinating with local Party committees, authorities, all levels, sectors and military units stationed in the area in terms of forces and means in drills on natural disaster prevention, search and rescue. Over 2,000 working days have been mobilized to support the locality in participating in drills as well as in handling situations of natural disaster prevention, search and rescue.
In the coming time, the Military Party Committee of Ha Quang district will closely coordinate training with drills to improve command skills, disaster response capacity and search and rescue of the forces; promote propaganda andeducation for the district's armed forces to clearly understand legal regulations, basic knowledge of civil defense, disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, build responsibility, high determination and readiness to overcome difficulties and dangers.
Ha Quang District Military Command awarded certificates of merit to collectives that well implemented Resolution No. 689-NQ/QUTW.
On this occasion, the District Military Command awarded certificates of merit to 3 groups and 7 individuals who have effectively implemented Resolution No. 689-NQ/QUTW, dated October 10, 2014 of the Central Military Commission on prevention, control, and overcoming consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, and search and rescue.
