Online conference to guide, share and discuss digital transformation

On the morning of June 6, the Ministry of Science and Technology held an online conference to guide, share, and discuss digital transformation in the period of merging provinces and communes and converting to a two-level local government model. In Phu Yen, the conference was connected to the Department of Science and Technology and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities.

Attending the conference, delegates were guided by leaders, experts of the National Digital Transformation Agency and technology companies on technical requirements in the process of merging provinces and communes and eliminating district levels to ensure stable, safe and synchronous operation of key IT systems serving digital transformation; guided on principles and steps for upgrading and adjusting information systems and methods for determining costs.

In addition, experts from the National Digital Transformation Agency also shared experiences and recommended scenarios for provinces/cities on upgrading the administrative procedure settlement system at the local level; practical implementation of adjusting the administrative procedure settlement system in Ho Chi Minh City to meet the requirements of restructuring the administrative apparatus according to Resolution 18; experience in consulting and organizing the implementation of digital transformation during the period of merging provinces and communes and converting to a two-level local government model.

At the conference, delegates also discussed related issues and had their questions answered by experts.
