Information at the press conference said: The Vietnam Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Development Cooperation Conference is a national-scale event organized annually by the Vietnam Association for Information Technology in coordination with the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People's Committees of provinces and cities, rotating in localities.

In 2023, Binh Dinh province was chosen to host the 24th Vietnam ICT Development Cooperation Conference. The conference is a forum for policy makers, managers and experts to share experiences and cooperate in ICT development between central ministries, branches and provinces and cities nationwide to promote digital transformation, build a modern and synchronous e-Government/digital government, promote administrative reform, serve people and businesses, and contribute to socio -economic development.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for managers, organizations, businesses and individuals operating in the field of IT-TT to have the opportunity to meet, exchange, grasp the current situation, needs, introduce the activities and capacity of their units, seek cooperation, introduce and consult on new solutions, products and technologies.

According to Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Dinh Province Tran Kim Kha, the 24th Vietnam Information and Communications Technology Development Cooperation Conference this time has the theme: "Digital data and decision support platforms". Based on this theme, the Conference will focus on implementing issues according to the orientation and policies of Resolution No. 52-NQ/TW dated September 27, 2019 of the Politburo on a number of policies and guidelines to proactively participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution; Resolution No. 50/NQ-CP dated April 17, 2020 of the Government promulgating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 52-NQ/TW dated September 27, 2019 of the Politburo on a number of policies and guidelines to proactively participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution; Decision No. 749/QD-TTg dated June 3, 2020 of the Prime Minister approving the "National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030"; Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU dated September 20, 2021 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (term XX) on digital transformation of Binh Dinh province to 2025, with a vision to 2030; focusing on prioritizing digital transformation in areas that bring value to people, businesses and society.

Along with the above contents, the Workshop also closely follows important contents on digital transformation in 2023, especially 2023 being the National Digital Data Year.

Providing more information at the press conference, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang affirmed that the Workshop aims to thoroughly grasp, discuss and exchange on the role and orientation of IT development and digital transformation in the coming period; exchange and propose solutions, tasks, actions, coordination methods, resource mobilization plans, clearly define the tasks and responsibilities of agencies, units and enterprises to implement thematic contents.

The workshop will take place over 2 days: September 21 - 22, 2023, at Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center (No. 01 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province).

Participants include: Government leaders, National Committee on Digital Transformation, Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Association for Information Technology, Government Office, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Home Affairs; IT - Communication specialized units of central ministries and branches; People's Committees, Departments of Information and Communications, Departments of Planning and Investment, Departments of Finance, Departments of Science and Technology, Departments of Home Affairs, Associations for Information Technology of provinces and centrally run cities.

In addition, the workshop was attended by associations, professional associations related to IT-TT; universities, colleges, research institutes and training facilities on IT-TT in and outside Binh Dinh province; domestic and international IT-TT organizations and enterprises; domestic and international organizations and enterprises operating in Binh Dinh province; IT students from universities and colleges in Binh Dinh that provide IT-TT training; news agencies, newspapers, radio and television. The number of official delegates is expected to be about 1,000 people.

Regarding the content of the reports and discussions at the Workshop, according to the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, the main focus is on the orientations of the Party, the Government, the National Committee on Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Information and Communications and related ministries and branches in the coming time. In particular, for the Central level, the focus will be on reports and discussions on Digital Government - achievements, solutions for the period 2020-2025, orientation to 2030; national database creating a foundation for digital government development, connecting national and local applications; exploiting and sharing data from national databases, industry databases; current status and orientation of digital transformation to serve digital government, digital economy, digital society; building national Digital Transformation platforms; developing IT-TT infrastructure, centralized data centers, solutions and orientations for sharing telecommunications and IT infrastructure; ensuring information security in state agencies.

For provincial and municipal levels, reports and discussions related to the orientation of building a Data Warehouse, a shared, inter-sectoral data center at the provincial level; the issue of sharing and connecting data from national databases to serve the task of building a shared data warehouse at the provincial level; data digitization, connection, integration, sharing, and data interconnection to serve digital government and socio-economic development; the effectiveness of the online public service provision model; digital transformation platforms and solutions applying new and modern technologies suitable for the provincial and municipal model; information security in building provincial e-government; creating a favorable investment environment for the application of new technologies and the development of the IT industry.

Regarding the content related to solutions, technology and IT resource development, the reports and presentations at the Workshop will focus on issues such as: Solutions and platforms to support data-based decision making; models for building digital data centers to serve digital transformation; developing telecommunications infrastructure to serve the construction of synchronous infrastructure; developing IT resources to serve the construction of digital government; safety and security in the construction of digital government at the local level; creating a favorable investment environment for technology application and development of the information technology industry.

According to the Organizing Committee of the press conference, in addition to the above contents, within the framework of activities related to the Conference, there will also be an exhibition of IT - Communication products, introducing IT - Communication products of organizations and enterprises nationwide; Conference of the Central Council of member Information Technology Associations to find solutions to enhance the role of coordination and cooperation in social and professional activities on IT - Communication; discuss plans for coordination of activities; The long-distance ICT car group heading to Quy Nhon and sports activities of the IT community..../.
