More than 20 investment funds participate in Danang Venture and Angel Investment Forum

DAVAS 2025 is upgraded in scale with the participation of more than 20 prestigious investors and investment funds from Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong - China, Vietnam... Notable ones include Quest Ventures, Do Ventures, ThinkZone Ventures, Trive, Sunwah Innovation Center... with a total investment of more than 3.5 billion USD.

Along with that are more than 60 domestic and foreign experts and speakers; more than 30 accompanying and supporting units for startups such as Swiss EP, Kilsa Global, Draper House Vietnam, E-Future Association...

In addition, there are 36 domestic and international innovative startups in many fields such as technology, education, agriculture , healthcare... Of which, there are 2 projects from Hong Kong, 1 project from Singapore, 24 projects from Da Nang, 4 projects from Ho Chi Minh City, 3 projects from Hanoi and 2 projects from Can Tho and Nha Trang.

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that after Da Nang and Quang Nam merge, Da Nang City (new) will have an area of nearly ^12,000km2 and a population of over 3 million people.

Da Nang's position will then be raised to a new level, creating a breakthrough in development, contributing to building Da Nang into one of the major socio-economic centers of the country and Southeast Asia, with the role of a center for startups and innovation in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2019 of the Politburo.

At this forum, the Da Nang City government hopes to gradually build and form a community of angel investors and venture capital funds in the city; support innovative start-up projects and businesses to approach domestic and foreign investors, investment funds, and leading experts in the field of innovative start-ups.

At the same time, it is hoped that in the coming time, the Da Nang City startup ecosystem will develop more and more strongly, becoming an attractive destination, connecting innovative startup resources, domestic and international startups to cooperate, invest and develop together.
