Nui Thanh gives gifts to the elderly and disadvantaged children

(QNO) - On May 29, leaders of Nui Thanh district visited and presented gifts to the elderly on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Elderly (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2025); presented gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1).

Visiting the families of the elderly, leaders of Nui Thanh district wished them good health and longevity, and continued to be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to follow.

District leaders presented longevity greeting cards from the President, longevity certificates from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly , and presented 369 gifts to seniors who turned 90 and 100 years old, with a total value of more than 232 million VND.

On this occasion, leaders of Nui Thanh district also visited and presented 85 gifts (each worth 700,000 VND) to children in especially difficult circumstances in 17/17 communes and towns on International Children's Day.
