National scientific conference "Northwest - interdisciplinary approaches"

On November 8, Tay Bac University organized a national scientific conference with the theme: “Northwest: interdisciplinary approaches”. Attending the conference were leaders of provincial departments and branches; representatives of a number of universities and colleges across the country.

With the aim of expanding the research direction, the Workshop focuses on three main approaches, including: from the perspective of history, culture, ethnicity; the perspective of literature, language and art; the perspective of geography, economics , education.

The organizing committee received 79 papers from scientists from specialized research institutes of the Central, major universities across the country, agencies and units in the Northwest region. The papers covered many different fields, from the depth of the historical and cultural past, the unique features of literature and art, to urgent issues of education , environment and tourism today.

At the workshop, delegates listened to presentations on a number of typical topics with new, interdisciplinary approaches; exchanged, discussed, gave opinions, contributed ideas, analyzed issues that need attention in the Northwest region, suggested solutions for tourism development, environmental protection, cultural preservation, and economic development associated with the strengths of localities in the Northwest.
