On the provincial side, there were comrades: Nguyen Khac Hieu, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dr. Le Hong Trung, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Health; Nguyen Van Truong, Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control.
The workshop was also attended by delegates from 37 provinces and cities nationwide.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu affirmed: Health promotion plays an important role in raising public awareness of health issues, thereby contributing to building a healthy lifestyle, towards a civilized society.
He also said that implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, the specialized resolution of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on strengthening the work of protecting, caring for, improving people's health and developing the health sector of Vinh Phuc province in the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2035, Vinh Phuc has issued many policies and invested resources to upgrade facilities, invest in equipment and means for medical units.
Regarding health promotion activities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu said that recently, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee have directed the Department of Health to closely coordinate with departments, branches, sectors, and organizations of the province to strive to build and successfully implement health promotion activities in accordance with local characteristics. Many activities have been and are being strongly implemented, contributing significantly to raising public awareness of health issues.
Speaking at the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Deputy Minister of Health, acknowledged and commended the efforts and achievements in the work of TTGDSK of the provinces and cities.
He emphasized that in recent times, under the direction of the local Department of Health, the staff working in the field of health promotion at the provincial and grassroots levels have made great efforts; actively and proactively applied technical advances in innovating communication activities, diversifying communication methods to reach more widely to the people and the community.

Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Lien Huong affirmed that one of the priorities to promote capacity building for the provincial and municipal health information network in 2024 and the coming years is planning and supervision at the level. Like other public health areas, success in health information starts with planning and monitoring the implementation of the plan.
With the hope that the set of forms will be put into use in accordance with the current provincial and municipal health communication network, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Lien Huong requested delegates, especially delegates who are directly implementing health communication work at all levels, to focus on giving direct comments on the content of the form, the list of communication equipment and the organization of implementation according to the form.
In addition, delegates actively exchanged, discussed, and proposed ideas to strengthen coordination between the Central and local levels, between local levels and the Central level to diversify communication activities, enhance communication effectiveness, and actively contribute to the successful implementation of tasks related to caring for, protecting, and improving people's health.
At the workshop, delegates listened to a number of presentations from the Central Center for Communication and Health Education; Centers for Disease Control of Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Lieu provinces and cities... on the current status of communication planning and annual inspection, supervision and direction, including investment in specialized equipment of the network of health education centers of provinces and cities; introducing the process of building 2 sets of forms, including communication planning and inspection and supervision of communication work implementation...
