The 7th Sports Festival of the People's Court of Son La province, 2025

On August 23 and 24, in Thao Nguyen ward, Son La Provincial People's Court organized the 7th Sports Festival in 2025, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the People's Court's Traditional Day (September 13, 1945 - September 13, 2025).

The sports festival attracted over 100 athletes from 7 People's Courts at two levels, including 6 regional People's Courts and the Provincial People's Court. The athletes competed in many exciting sports, such as: Pickleball, badminton, volleyball and tug of war.

Provincial People's Court leaders presented souvenir flags to the athletes' delegations.

In pickle ball, athletes compete in the following events: men's doubles, mixed doubles, women's doubles in the age groups under 40 and 40 years old and above. In volleyball, teams compete in teams of 2 men and 3 women. In tug of war, teams compete in mixed men's and women's events. In badminton, athletes compete in the following events: men's doubles, mixed men's and women's doubles in the age groups: 45 years old and below; 46 years old and above. The events are divided into groups to calculate points, selecting the best teams to compete in the semi-finals and finals to select the champion.

With the spirit of competition, the athletes gave the audience dramatic and spectacular matches, creating a vibrant sports atmosphere. At the end of the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the People's Court of Son La province; the second prize to the People's Court of Region 6; the third prize to the People's Court of Region 4. At the same time, the first, second and third prizes were awarded for each competition content of the subjects.
