Workshop on “Tracing the origin of products and goods in the national digital transformation program” and launching of ACTIV representative office in Thai Binh

In the context of digital transformation fundamentally changing production and business methods and consumers increasingly interested in transparency about product origin, on April 15, Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company (ACTIV) in collaboration with Techfest Vietnam successfully organized the workshop "Tracing the origin of products and goods in the national digital transformation program". The event was held at Thong Nhat Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) attracting the participation of leaders of agencies, departments, branches and representatives of more than 300 businesses from many localities.

Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company announced and awarded the decision to establish 40 representative offices in the provinces, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi .

The workshop introduced the pioneering solution "TrueData" - a technology solution for tracing the origin of products using RFID electronic chip stamps, storing full information about the origin, provenance and circulation of products on the market. At the workshop, speakers analyzed the current situation, clarified the policy picture and solutions for applying digital technology, aiming to clarify the origin of products and goods, thereby protecting the rights of consumers. Speakers presented and analyzed relevant legal documents such as Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BKHCN, Decision No. 100/QD-TTg, Decree No. 13/2022/ND-CP, and directives and proposals of the Central Party Secretariat and the Politburo to determine the role of traceability in the trend of globalization and international economic integration.

At the workshop, the Steering Committee for the establishment of the “Association of organizations researching and applying solutions to trace the origin of products and goods” was officially launched. This is an important milestone promoting efforts to raise awareness and social responsibility in joining hands to protect the true value of products.

Notably, within the framework of the workshop, ACTIV announced its decision to establish a system of representative offices in provinces and cities nationwide, in order to increase its presence and support businesses in applying TrueData solutions. The representative office of Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company in Thai Binh province was officially launched, and the establishment decision was handed directly to Ms. Pham Thi Minh Ha, Head of Thai Binh Provincial Representative Office. This is an important step forward, helping ACTIV take advantage of local resources, enhance its reputation, support genuine businesses and create favorable conditions for consumers to look up and verify the origin of products quickly and accurately.
