More than 1,000 members and women in Dong Thap are supported to start businesses and start a business.

According to the Dong Thap Provincial Women's Union, support for women starting businesses is carried out in many ways such as organizing 159 training classes, seminars, talks, and competitions to improve the capacity of women starting businesses.

Women in Dong Thap mainly work in agriculture, small-scale industry and small services, so the need for capital, business skills training and market access is huge. Therefore, the Project has helped women access loans, participate in business skills training courses, apply technology and digital transformation and develop new economic models.

Project 939 also provided training courses such as seminars, workshops, training, start-up consulting, and market connections, helping women become more confident in economic development.

In addition, participating departments and branches are assigned specific roles in supporting resources, organizing startup programs, and facilitating access to preferential policies.

In addition, 294,240 female members (accounting for 80% of the total number of female members) were educated and raised about employment and entrepreneurship. At the same time, the Association at all levels also coordinated and supported the establishment of 171 cooperatives/cooperatives managed by women.

The leader of the Women's Union of Dong Thap province said that, implementing Project 939, the number of women-owned businesses in Dong Thap has increased, many creative start-up models in the fields of agriculture , non-agriculture, food processing, and community tourism have been successful. Many women's products have been supported to connect to the market, participate in fairs and e-commerce platforms, contributing to increasing income.

Project 939 not only contributes to promoting the local economy, but also creates positive changes in society and the environment. With strong support from the government and the initiative of the Women's Union at all levels, the Project has opened up many opportunities for sustainable development, contributing to improving the quality of life and creating a solid foundation for the socio-economic development of the province.
