Prime Minister attends groundbreaking ceremony of Trump International Hung Yen project

The Khoai Chau urban, eco-tourism and golf course complex project has an area of ​​nearly 1,000 hectares and a total investment of over 1.5 billion USD; including a 54-hole VIP golf course system, a resort, luxury villas, a modern urban complex and international standard amenities.

Within the framework of strategic cooperation between Trump Organization and Hung Yen Company - a member company of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation, this is the first Trump-branded project in Vietnam, continuing the quality standards that have made Trump real estate famous worldwide, promising to become one of the most iconic destinations in Vietnam.

This is also an international project, of great significance to the socio-economic development, promoting growth and economic transformation of Hung Yen province in particular and the whole country in general; it is expected to contribute to maximizing the tourism potential of the Red River Delta and become a symbolic project, marking the comprehensive strategic cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the United States.

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his joy at the groundbreaking ceremony of the project in an atmosphere where the whole country has just celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the 135th anniversary of the birth of the great President Ho Chi Minh, and towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The Prime Minister said that in Vietnam's 80 years of independence, there have been 40 years of war and 30 years of siege and embargo, but the country has strongly promoted the spirit of self-reliance, overcoming difficulties and challenges to rise up and build a beautiful and strongly developing country.

Although the country still faces many difficulties and challenges, we believe that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the management of the State, and the consensus of the people, Vietnam will build an increasingly dignified and beautiful country, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as beloved President Ho Chi Minh always wished.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this project is of great significance in promoting the Vietnam-US relationship to become increasingly deeper, more substantial and effective; affirming the trust of foreign investors, including US investors, in Vietnam; contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of Hung Yen and Vietnam, green, clean and beautiful with world-class projects; enhancing the brand value of Hung Yen in particular and Vietnam in general; receiving the transfer of advanced management technology; contributing to creating jobs and livelihoods for the people.

In fact, leading US corporations such as Intel, Nike, Apple, Boeing, Nvidia... and now the Trump Organization are expanding their investments, affirming their confidence in Vietnam's business environment.

The Prime Minister reiterated that during his first term, US President Donald Trump visited Vietnam twice with good feelings and impressions. The Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has continued to develop positively in recent times, contributing significantly to the peaceful, cooperative and developing environment in the region and the world; Vietnam hopes to continue to welcome President Trump to visit Vietnam again.

Assessing the presence of Mr. Eric Trump and his wife at the groundbreaking ceremony as creating motivation and inspiration for the project, the Prime Minister said that the groundbreaking ceremony was just the beginning, the upcoming workload is still very large in completing the design, clearing the large area of ​​land and organizing the construction to ensure progress, quality, technical assurance, aesthetics, environmental sanitation and labor safety.

The Prime Minister hopes that Hung Yen province, ministries and sectors will closely coordinate and actively support to complete the project within 2 years, welcoming the APEC 2027 event in Vietnam; contributing to bringing Hung Yen's service industry to new heights and affirming the good relationship between the two countries.

The Prime Minister sincerely thanks and hopes that the people will continue to support and give up land for the project, contributing to the development of the homeland and the country; local authorities must take good care of the lives and livelihoods of those who have given up land for the project with the goal that the new place of residence must be better than the old place.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Hung Yen is a place with a heroic cultural and historical tradition, a land of "spiritual land and talented people" as the saying goes "First the Capital, second Pho Hien"; he suggested that the province continue to promote this tradition in the new era of the nation, an era of striving to develop richly, civilizedly, prosperously, and the people are increasingly prosperous and happy.

The Prime Minister believes that the project will be successful in the shortest time, bringing benefits to investors, the common interests of the two countries, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
