More than 1,800 officials from Dak Nong and Binh Thuan come to Lam Dong to work and need housing.

At the press conference on the afternoon of May 13, Mr. Le Binh Minh - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Finance said that plans have been made to arrange public housing for officials and civil servants who will be working in Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces in Lam Dong after the province's merger.

Specifically, Lam Dong plans to arrange official housing for 8 members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee at 4 locations including: Provincial Party Committee official housing area; Provincial People's Committee Office Guest House Area (Palace 2); No. 7 and No. 11 Tran Hung Dao Street. For 20 officials in the Provincial Party Standing Committee (excluding officials currently working in Lam Dong), it is proposed to arrange accommodation at 2 locations: Provincial Party Committee Guest House Area and Provincial People's Committee Office Guest House Area (Palace 2).

With 99 officers who are Directors and Deputy Directors of departments and branches, Lam Dong will have a plan to arrange accommodation at 6 locations, which are the old headquarters.

Notably, in addition to the officials who are the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Directors and Deputy Directors of departments and branches, the number of civil servants and public employees after the province's merger is 3,253 people, expected to work at the new Lam Dong Provincial Administrative Center is 2,600 people (80%), of which 1,820 people have housing needs.

To solve the housing needs of civil servants and public employees, Lam Dong province proposed to arrange housing at 10 locations, which are the old headquarters of agencies and units such as: Provincial Youth Union, Cadre Health Care Area, Forest Protection and Development Fund; headquarters of wards 1, 2, 4, 10 and some other addresses for backup.

Currently, the above plan for arranging public housing has been submitted by Lam Dong Department of Finance to the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Committee has sent a document asking for opinions from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
