Training on production techniques and management of peanut raw material areas in Lam Binh district

- On May 13, at the Minh Quang commune cultural house (Lam Binh), the Institute for Agricultural Market and Institutional Research under the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture in coordination with the People's Committee of Minh Quang commune organized a training course on production techniques and management of peanut material areas associated with growing area codes and traceability.

Students practice composting with biological products.

The training course was attended by 60 trainees who are households and agricultural and forestry cooperatives of Minh Quang and Phuc Son communes. Trainees were imparted knowledge on building concentrated peanut material areas according to standards; safe peanut production techniques, organic peanut production; applying electronic production diaries in peanut material areas; instructions on granting and managing growing area codes; practicing production and processing of agricultural by-products in peanut production.

This is an activity within the Pilot Project to build a standard agricultural and forestry raw material area for domestic consumption and export, phase 2022-2025 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment .
