The project aims to gradually complete the system of relics and infrastructure around the Kiep Bac Temple area; complete the worship system, restore the rituals in the festival, ensure the landscape of the relic site, contribute to improving the quality of management work, promote the value of the relic site. Thereby, promote the value of the relic site, exploit the potential and tourism resources, create unique tourism products, attract tourists, contribute to educating the historical and cultural traditions, develop the local economy and culture; attract investment resources to develop the relic site.
When implemented, the project will reclaim, compensate, and relocate 5 households that are greatly affected by the Mam Xoi mountain area, 3 households affected by the expansion of Ganh Gach road (adjacent to provincial road 398, behind the temple through the foot of Mam Xoi mountain to the old Temple) to restore Ganh Gach road, protect Mam Xoi mountain, ensure the landscape, and avoid encroachment on the relics of the relic site.
The province will also reclaim and compensate the entire lake area north of Kiep Bac Temple to renovate, ensure the landscape and environment of the relic site, and avoid encroachment, including relocating 6 households living near the lake; reclaiming the entire lake bed including rice fields and public land; building a resettlement area in the area of the Cultural House of Bac Dau village, Hung Dao commune, Chi Linh city.
When renovating and embellishing Mam Xoi mountain, the project will expand Ganh Gach road from provincial road 398 (behind the temple) to the foot of Mam Xoi mountain with a length of about 250m; 10.5m wide; plant trees on both sides; embellish the walking path from Ganh Gach road to Mam Xoi mountain; build a protective embankment system around the foot of the mountain, fill the soil, plant trees to restore the mountain landscape.
The project will dredge, plant lotus and water lilies to improve the landscape of the lake bed north of Kiep Bac temple; re-embank the lake, arrange a ditch to collect surface water and wastewater near provincial road 398, connecting to Vien Lang lake; repair the 400m embankment section adjacent to the dike, the lake embankment section adjacent to road 398 to the back of the temple, about 600m long...
Previously, when appraising the project of Hai Duong province, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism noted that, for the Mam Xoi mountain project, to limit the leveling of the terrain, affecting the natural landscape, the design of the road up the mountain should be adjusted in the direction. The project needs to have the direction of the route following the natural terrain, avoiding large rocks and valuable trees; study and adjust the design to reduce the road width to about 3m and use naturally shaped stones with a relatively flat surface to replace the design of 350x1000x190 sized stone slabs to pave the road surface and there needs to be a plan to cover the surface of the embankment around the mountain with trees.
For the North of Kiep Bac Temple (Khanh Lake), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism noted that the stone embankment and lake railings are built along the natural contour of the lake shore.
