More than 200 officers and soldiers of Quang Ninh Police voluntarily donated blood

With the theme "Every drop of blood - a heart", on the morning of May 19, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Provincial Police organized a voluntary blood donation program "Red drops of love for compatriots and beloved comrades".

Registering to donate blood at the program were 255 officers and soldiers of Quang Ninh Provincial Police and officers and employees of BIDV Bank, Quang Ninh branch, Viettel Quang Ninh, VNPT Quang Ninh.

From 2014 to present, Quang Ninh Provincial Police has organized 15 blood donation programs with 4,138 officers and soldiers participating, more than 2,000 officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police registered to donate blood at voluntary blood donation festivals, Red Sundays organized by units and localities, providing thousands of units of blood for treatment.

This is a noble gesture, contributing to educating the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of the Vietnamese people and demonstrating the responsibility of the People's Public Security soldiers towards the community.

At the end of the program, the organizers collected 243 units of blood. The donated blood units will be added to the blood reserves of hospitals in the province, contributing to bringing life to patients in need of blood transfusion.
