More than 200 students from Khanh Vinh district participated in a mock trial on child marriage and incestuous marriage.

On April 25, at Chu Van An Secondary School (Khanh Hiep Commune), Khanh Vinh District, a mock trial was held to disseminate, propagate, and educate the law on early marriage and incestuous marriage for more than 200 students.

The content of the case at the mock trial is based on a real case of the crime of "Sexual intercourse with a person from 13 to under 16 years old" as prescribed in Article 145 and the crime of "Organizing early marriage" as prescribed in Article 183 of the Penal Code. The mock trial takes place with full order, procedures, and composition as prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code.

In addition, there is also a question and answer contest for students revolving around legal regulations on early marriage and incestuous marriage, thereby helping them raise awareness and understanding of legal regulations on early marriage and incestuous marriage.

The mock trial is a program under Sub-project 2, Project 9: Reducing child marriage and consanguineous marriage in ethnic minority and mountainous areas - National target program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Khanh Vinh district by 2025.
