Dr. Le Anh Duc, Head of Training Management Department, National Economics University, informed that there are more than 32,000 candidates registered to enter the National Economics University. Of which, more than 75% registered for combined admission; about 25% registered for admission based purely on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores.
Giving a forecast on the benchmark score, Mr. Duc said that after analyzing the score distribution of subjects and the general level of high school graduation exam scores in 2025, the benchmark score of the National Economics University could decrease by 1-2 points in the graduation results consideration method compared to 2024.
Because the average score of candidates in 5 traditional university entrance exam groups decreased by 0.8-2.1 compared to 2024.
As for the National Economics University, Mr. Duc said that the benchmark score could decrease by 1-2 points, depending on the major and program.
This year, the National Economics University has three admission methods similar to last year. The school enrolls 8,200 full-time students for 73 majors, a total of nearly 90 programs. The school has two new programs: Labor Relations and International Trade Law.
Last year, the highest benchmark score of the National Economics University was in Public Relations with 28.18, the remaining majors were all no less than 26.57.
On a scale of 30, Public Relations has the highest score with 28.18 points, followed by E-commerce with 28.02. The remaining majors all have scores of 26.57 or higher. This is the total score of three graduation exam subjects according to the combination (depending on the major), including priority points (if any).
With a scale of 40, the highest admission threshold is 37.49 in the Marketing Communications industry. Many other industries have a benchmark score above 36, such as Business Administration, Valuation, Hotel and Event Management. The lowest in this group is Software Engineering with 34.06.
