More than 5,000 citizens had their CCCD applications received during the 3-day holiday.

In order to speed up the progress of issuing electronic chip-embedded ID cards, striving to complete the task of collecting ID card application files for people before July 1, during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and April 30 and May 1 holidays, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have arranged forces, vehicles, and organizations to collect ID card application files for electronic chip-embedded ID cards and create level 1 and level 2 electronic identification accounts for people.

More than 5,000 citizens had their CCCD applications received during the 3-day holiday.

The joy of people when police officers come to their homes to support them with procedures for issuing CCCD.

Accordingly, from April 29 to May 5, 2023, nearly 2,000 officers and soldiers of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of the Provincial Police and the Police of 27 districts, towns and cities in the province did not take a holiday but proactively went to the grassroots to organize the collection of CCCD application files for citizens both during and outside of working hours.

In order for the people in the province, especially those who work far away and return to their hometowns for the holidays, to understand this policy, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have organized propaganda on mass media and on Zalo pages, Facebook Fanpages of district and commune level Police about the time and place where the Police force organizes the collection and guidance of citizens to complete procedures for applying for CCCD and setting up electronic identification accounts.

At the same time, implement the motto "as long as citizens apply for CCCD, there will be work" and "go to every alley, knock on every door, check every person" to mobilize and urge people, especially workers, students, and people working far away to take advantage of the holidays to apply for chip-embedded CCCD and level 1 and level 2 electronic identification accounts.

In addition to maintaining a fixed CCCD issuance team at the police headquarters at all levels, the provincial police have arranged mobile teams to go to people's homes to collect applications for chip-embedded CCCDs and guide people to create level 1 and level 2 electronic identification accounts from 7:00 a.m. until all cases of citizens coming to collect applications are resolved. For cases of the elderly, sick, and ill who cannot travel, the police force has enthusiastically supported them, going to their homes and hospitals to carry out the procedures.

As for the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, the Provincial Police, as the core and main force in the process of implementing the peak, in recent days, along with focusing on speeding up the progress of handling citizens' problems at agencies and units, the unit has mobilized maximum equipment, concentrated forces to inspect, re-examine, urge, guide, and support the Police units at the grassroots level to speed up the progress of implementing the peak; coordinated with the Police of provinces and cities where Thanh Hoa citizens reside to support the collection of CCCD application files...

With the spirit of working continuously during the day, without days off to serve the people, in just the first 3 days of the holiday, the whole province has received more than 5,200 applications for electronic chip-embedded ID cards; nearly 15,000 level 1 and level 2 electronic identification accounts; bringing the total number of files received by the Provincial Police as of May 1, 2023 to nearly 4 million files (reaching a rate of over 98%).

At Sam Son City Police, although at this time, the officers and soldiers of the City Police are focusing on implementing plans to ensure security and order for tourists during the holidays, the City Police force and the Police of wards and communes in the area still make the most of their time, arrange their work reasonably to establish working groups to go to each house and hospital to support the collection of CCCD applications for people who are sick and cannot travel. Currently, Sam Son City is one of the localities with a high rate of people having their CCCD applications collected (nearly 100%). During the past 2 holidays, by maintaining 2 working groups, Sam Son City Police has collected over 200 CCCD applications, reducing the number of eligible cases that have not yet received CCCD to 400.

In the mountainous district of Cam Thuy, there are still about 2,500 cases where the records have not been received, mainly citizens who work far away and are not present in the locality. Therefore, during the recent holidays, Cam Thuy District Police used 2 reception machines and maintained 2 working groups, receiving 269 records for the people.

Up to now, the whole province still has about 70,000 citizens who are eligible for CCCD but have not had their applications received (mainly citizens who work far away and are not present in the locality). Therefore, in the following days, the Provincial Police will continue to maintain the points for issuing CCCD with electronic chips for people in the new area with the goal of soon completing the assigned targets according to the set schedule.
