On December 21 and 22, Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union coordinated with Tien Yen District Youth Union to organize the Youth Culture and Sports Festival 2024, welcoming the success of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029.
The festival was attended by over 500 union members and young people in Quang Ninh province. At the festival, meaningful cultural and sports activities took place such as: "Healthy Youth Festival", Vietnam Map Matching Competition; learning about the history and culture of Quang Ninh; walking on stilts; Crossbow shooting; tug of war and playing some folk games. In addition, the Youth Union of localities in Tien Yen district organized an exhibition of traditional culinary products and ethnic cultural spaces in the district.
In particular, within the framework of the program, there was an art program called Youth and the journey to spread the rich culture of Quang Ninh , with many unique art performances performed by young union members.
Through the Festival, the aim is to honor, promote and spread the cultural identity values of ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province; contribute to educating the tradition of patriotism, national pride, strengthening the strength of the great national unity bloc; raise awareness and responsibility of youth and people of all walks of life in the work of preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the community.
