According to information from the Public Transport Management Center (HCMC Department of Transport), it is expected that there will be 61 bus routes connecting to 14 metro stations No. 1. Of these, 11 routes have buses at the stations (Van Thanh station (2 routes), Binh Thai station (4 routes), New Eastern Bus Station (5 routes).
Of these, there are 50 subsidized routes and 11 non-subsidized routes, operating from 3am to nearly 11pm and with intervals from 15 minutes to 90 minutes (depending on the route).

This plan will first be applied at the new Mien Dong bus station (Thu Duc city) when metro line 1 is put into operation at the end of 2024. The locations of Mien Tay bus station (Binh Tan district), old Mien Dong (Binh Thanh district), An Suong (Hoc Mon district) and Ga Ga intersection (district 12) are expected to be applied from 2025.
According to the proposal of the HCM City Department of Transport, the metro ticket price ranges from 6,000 VND to 19,000 VND for non-cash passengers and from 7,000 VND to 20,000 VND for cash passengers.
For customers who buy tickets by time, a one-day ticket is 40,000 VND (unlimited number of trips per day); a three-day ticket is 90,000 VND (unlimited number of trips per three days).
Regarding monthly tickets, regular customers buy monthly tickets for 300,000 VND. Monthly tickets for students are 150,000 VND.
It is expected that the city budget will support 100% of ticket prices for people with revolutionary contributions, people with disabilities, the elderly (Vietnamese citizens aged 60 and over), and children under 6 years old accompanied by adults.
In addition, within 30 days (from the date metro line 1 begins commercial operation), passengers traveling on metro line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) and bus routes connecting to metro line 1 will be exempted from ticket fees.
