Honda ADV 160 adds new features, set date to return to Vietnam

The latest upgrade of the Honda ADV 160 scooter line produced in Indonesia has been supplemented by the Japanese automaker with a more modern Honda RoadSync feature.

Recently, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) - a joint venture between Honda and its partner in Indonesia continued to launch an upgraded version of the adventure-style off-road scooter - the new Honda ADV 160 2026.

The biggest highlight on the 2026 ADV160 RoadSync is the Honda RoadSync feature, which allows users to connect their smartphones via Bluetooth to control functions such as listening to music, receiving calls, viewing messages, and giving voice commands...

In terms of appearance, the ADV160 2026 still retains the typical shape of the multi-purpose scooter line, but has slight adjustments to the side fairing, making the vehicle look more sturdy and powerful. The LED headlights and taillights still retain a sharp design, while the rear fender is made in a sporty style, creating a difference compared to traditional scooter models.

All of the new Honda RoadSync features of the vehicle are displayed on the 5-inch TFT instrument cluster and are easily operated via the multi-function button cluster on the handlebar. This is the first time this system has appeared on the ADV160, bringing modern experiences to users.

The braking system on the bike is a wave disc type for both front and rear wheels with diameters of 240mm and 220mm respectively. The bike is also equipped with a shock absorber system with an oil tank, providing high stability and good shock absorption.

In addition, the large tires with multi-purpose design also help the vehicle operate well on rough terrain. With a seat height of 780 mm and high ground clearance, the ADV160 still meets the needs of multi-purpose travel.

In terms of convenience, the vehicle is also equipped with a USB Type-C charging port, a 30-liter under-seat storage compartment, and a 2-level height-adjustable windshield (75mm difference), helping the driver feel more comfortable on long journeys.

The engine equipped on the ADV160 is the eSP+ type with a cylinder capacity of 160cc, liquid-cooled, giving a maximum capacity of 11.8 kW at 8,500 rpm and torque of 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The vehicle is fully equipped with driver assistance technologies such as Idling Stop System, Smart Key, and especially HSTC traction control system, which helps prevent rear wheel slippage when operating on slippery roads...

In Indonesia, the Honda ADV160 RoadSync 2026 is sold at an estimated price of about 41,950 million rupiah (equivalent to 66.3 million VND). It is predicted that this model will soon be brought to Vietnam but will be through unofficial private distribution channels.
