The super cool mini PC, the appearance deceives all eyes

The Mini PC market is bustling again with products that are not only powerful but also have unique designs. Standing out among them is the Chatreey EX1, a PC that can fool anyone's eyes with its cylindrical appearance, identical to a common Bluetooth speaker.

The highlight of the Chatreey EX1 is that it not only “looks like” a speaker but actually acts like one.

The case integrates a 10W stereo speaker system, a mini subwoofer and a 24-bit audio decoder (DAC).

This turns the Chatreey EX1 into an “all-in-one” solution, eliminating the need for users to purchase additional speakers, maximizing desk space.

There's even an RGB LED ring on top of the machine for added aesthetics.

In terms of configuration, the EX1 is not inferior to other high-performance mini PCs. The device is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS APU with 8 Zen 4 cores, 16 threads and integrated powerful Radeon 780M graphics core.

This configuration is powerful enough to handle office tasks, multimedia entertainment, and light gaming. The device supports two DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM slots and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD hard drive slots.

The connectivity ports are also very complete, including a high-speed USB4 port, three 10 Gbps USB-A ports, a USB 2.0 port, HDMI 2.1 output port and DisplayPort 2.1 allowing output to three screens at the same time. In addition, the machine also has an audio jack, 2.5 GbE network port, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

However, one thing to note is that despite the appearance of a portable speaker, the Chatreey EX1 does not have a built-in battery. The device must always be connected to a power source to operate, whether used as a computer or just playing music via Bluetooth. The dimensions of the device are 167 x 112 mm.

The product is currently sold on the e-commerce platform AliExpress under two different names: Soayan EXR1 and Chatreey EX1. The basic configuration version with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD starts at $480. Interestingly, the model from the Chatreey brand costs significantly more despite the similar configuration.
