On July 30, at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh in coordination with relevant agencies and units, Saigon Universe Joint Stock Company and Miss Cosmo organization held a press conference, officially announcing the schedule of activities of the Miss Cosmo Contest (Miss Universe) 2024 in Ninh Binh and announcing the representative image of Ninh Binh province's culture and tourism.
Attending the press conference were leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports; Department of Tourism ; Department of Information and Communications; Provincial Tourism Association; leaders of districts and cities; representatives of leaders and reporters of central and local press agencies; representatives of sponsors of the Miss Cosmo 2024 Contest.
Attending the press conference were Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau and Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Thi Xuan Hanh.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, briefly introduced the potentials and strengths of Ninh Binh tourism with a variety of tourist areas, destinations, scenic spots, cultural heritages... Ninh Binh province has paid attention to promoting propaganda and advertising, bringing the image of Ninh Binh tourism to a large number of domestic and international tourists. Ninh Binh tourism has become a bright spot, for many consecutive years maintaining its position in the top 15 destinations and 10 provinces attracting the highest number of visitors in the country, gradually becoming a national and international tourist center.

At the press conference, representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports signed and presented the sash (a ribbon with the name of the representative image of Ninh Binh Culture and Tourism), officially announcing the reigning Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Thi Xuan Hanh as the representative image of Ninh Binh Culture and Tourism.
At the press conference, representative of Miss Cosmo organization, Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang, Head of Miss Cosmo Contest Organizing Committee, announced the schedule of activities of Miss Cosmo Contest 2024 in Ninh Binh.
With the participation of more than 80 countries and territories around the world, the Miss Cosmo 2024 Contest is professionally organized according to international standards with attractive and exciting activities taking place in major tourist cities of Vietnam to promote the beauty of the country, culture, tourism and people of Vietnam to friends around the world.
The highlight of Miss Cosmo 2024 is a series of vibrant and culturally rich festivals in many provinces and cities with the main theme "Vivid Vietnam - Vibrant Vietnam" through a series of festivals from North to South.
In Ninh Binh, Miss Cosmo contestants will participate in a series of welcoming activities, cultural exchanges, fashion shows and heritage promotion from September 15-17.
At the press conference, Miss Cosmo 2024 organization and Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area, Trang An Scenic Complex officially signed a cooperation agreement to become silver sponsors of the Miss Cosmo 2024 Contest.
In which, Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area plays the role of host and co-organizer of the national costume contest; Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex hosts and co-organizes the series of activities and Fashion Show "Hello Cosmo from Vietnam".
Many contents related to the selection of Ninh Binh as one of the localities to organize the activities of the Miss Cosmo 2024 Contest as well as the responsibility of the representative of Ninh Binh Cultural Tourism image; communication and promotion plans for Ninh Binh tourism... were discussed by reporters of press agencies at the press conference.
