On the afternoon of December 2, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Council chaired a meeting of the Council to appraise the pre-feasibility study report of the project route from Thai Binh City to Hung Ha District, connecting with Hung Yen Province. Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities.
Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.
The project of the route from Thai Binh city to Hung Ha district, connecting with Hung Yen province (within Thai Binh province) is expected to have its starting point at the intersection between the road to TBS Song Tra industrial park and National Highway 10 (S1 bypass), in Thai Binh city and its ending point at the beginning of the Luoc River overpass, in Cong Hoa commune, Hung Ha district; the project implementation locations include: Thai Binh city, Vu Thu, Dong Hung, Hung Ha. The total length of the route is about 24.8km; designed according to the scale of a level II plain road, with a design speed of 100km/h.

At the meeting, the Appraisal Council approved the appraisal of the project's pre-feasibility study report. Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Council affirmed: The investment in the route from Thai Binh city to Hung Ha district, connecting with Hung Yen province is very important, it is a "dynamic" and "radial" route connecting Thai Binh with the capital Hanoi and neighboring provinces, contributing to promoting investment attraction and socio -economic development of the province.
Leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment spoke at the meeting.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Council requested the Department of Transport and the consulting unit to absorb the opinions, complete the project's pre-feasibility study report, and submit it to the competent authority for approval; in which, research and develop the project in a modern direction, ensuring convenient traffic connection.
He also gave specific comments on a number of contents in project implementation such as: total investment; capital arrangement plan; site clearance; land fund management and construction works on the route; layout plan for intersections, rest stops, etc.
