Hue launches 6 weeks of peak action for green environment

During the peak weeks of "Green Sunday" in 2025, Youth Union organizations will coordinate to promote the movement associated with civilized urban lifestyle.

On the morning of February 16, in Loc Son town, Phu Loc district, the Standing Committee of Hue City Youth Union held a ceremony to launch 6 peak weeks of implementing the "Green Sunday" movement towards the 50th anniversary of Hue City Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025).

During the peak weeks of "Green Sunday" in 2025, Youth Union organizations will coordinate to promote the movement associated with civilized urban lifestyle in the new situation; maintain regular tree planting activities, especially in February and March 2025. Each cadre and youth union member will promote the role of an exemplary role in implementing the movement and at the same time strictly implement sanctions for violations related to environmental protection.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh and more than 500 cadres, youth union members and people of Phu Loc district planted trees on the flower road at the gate of La Son residential group and cleaned up National Highway 1, Loc Son market, Phu Loc district.
