In his opening speech, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that exactly 95 years ago, on February 3, 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam was founded and trained by President Ho Chi Minh. Under the correct and wise leadership of the Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh, together with the ardent patriotism, the strength of national unity, the resilience and bravery in combat, creativity in labor, and the wholehearted support and assistance of international friends, our people have continued to write the heroic pages of the nation's history, bringing the country to further development.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that in the article "Radiant Vietnam" on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), General Secretary To Lam affirmed: "Through the process of leading the revolution, our Party has been tempered and increasingly matured, strengthened, worthy of its role and mission of leading the revolution and the trust and expectations of the people", "In Vietnam, there is no other political force other than the Communist Party of Vietnam that has enough capacity, courage, intelligence, experience and prestige to lead the country to overcome all difficulties and challenges, leading the revolutionary cause of our nation from one victory to another".
The special art program to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring, celebrate the country's renewal" with the theme "95 years - The light that guides the way" is an opportunity to review the heroic history of the glorious Party, the glorious history of the nation; to remember the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of our Party and nation; to commemorate the Party's predecessors; the sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
“The program is a symphony of faith, pride and aspiration to rise up, because a strong and rich country is not only based on economic potential but also on cultural depth, rich identity, which nothing can dissolve,” Minister Nguyen Van Hung affirmed.
Inspired by the artistic teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, “Culture guides the nation”, the special art program celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring, celebrating the country’s renewal is staged in 3 chapters: “Guiding Light”, “Renewal Light” and “Era of Light”. Through language and artistic techniques, epic songs about love for the homeland, love for the Party, the program continues the spring of aspirations - aspirations to rise up for the prosperity and longevity of the nation, for the prosperity and happiness of the country.
In the first part, the animation “Dark Night” and the reportage “Light in the Dark Night” recreate the guiding light that the Communist Party of Vietnam uses to dispel the darkness, guide the entire nation, and open the path to liberation, independence, and freedom.
The memorable milestones of the nation's history were recounted by artists through artistic performances: "Together we go to the red army" (Dinh Nhu), "Youth go to the frontline" (Tran Tien), "August 19" (Xuan Oanh), "Marching song" (Van Cao), "National Defense Corps" (Phan Huynh Dieu), "Paramount artillery chant" (Hoang Van), "Dien Bien victory" (Do Nhuan), "Steps on the Truong Son range" (Vu Trong Hoi), "The country is full of joy" (Hoang Ha)...
In addition, many songs praising the Party and the Fatherland were impressively performed in the vast space of the August Revolution Square: The medley “Melody of the Fatherland” (Tran Tien) and “Praise the Fatherland” (Hoang Van), “The Party is my life” (Nguyen Duc Toan), “The Party Flag” (Van An), “Melody of Pride”, “The Road We Take” (Huy Du)…
Besides artistic performances, the program also has touching and meaningful documentary reports about the great sacrifices of revolutionary generations for the independence and freedom of the nation.
The program has great significance, promoting to all classes of people the love for the homeland, the country, national pride and revolutionary traditions under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the encouraging achievements in socio-economics, culture, education...; at the same time contributing to preserving and promoting fine traditional culture and developing tourism; strengthening the great national unity bloc, encouraging the successful implementation of the country's renovation.
