The implementation of digital transformation in Hung Yen is being seriously implemented in accordance with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. Up to now, the province has achieved initial positive results in implementing digital transformation, maintaining shared information systems and ensuring interconnected and synchronous operations to serve state agencies in directing and operating in the digital environment according to the 2-level local government model.
The province has published 2,165 administrative procedures with full electronic forms and processes (reaching 100%), serving people and businesses via the internet or at the Provincial and Commune Public Administration Service Centers. The rate of online public service records reached 89.5%, ranking 8th out of 34 provinces and cities.
The Provincial Party Committee Office has advised on the development and issuance of documents on digital transformation. The information technology infrastructure has been comprehensively upgraded, including the Data Integration Center, core network system, online conference, information security and safety. 100% of the agencies and units under the Provincial Party Committee have been connected to the Party's wide area network, with a secure and stable internet system. Many digital platforms, applications and shared data have been widely deployed. Specialized software has been effective, helping to reduce paperwork and increase work processing speed.
Accelerating digital transformation progress
Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia requested that in the coming time, Party committees and authorities at all levels focus on leading and directing the implementation to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the tasks assigned by the Provincial Steering Committee; review and adjust tasks to ensure suitability with the practical situation in localities and units; speed up the digitalization progress in Party agencies and government agencies.
To achieve this goal, according to Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia, departments and branches need to focus on completing the review and selection of software and applications that meet management requirements.
The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee continues to direct Party organizations to deploy software assigned by the Central Government; at the same time, develop a plan to recruit and train specialized staff in information technology and digital transformation.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission strengthens regular supervision of the implementation of digital transformation tasks, especially slow and late tasks.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department promptly issued a document guiding the organization of the thematic activity "Pioneering Party members learning digital skills".
The Departments of Home Affairs, Finance, Education and Training urgently complete assigned tasks on building breakthrough policies and mechanisms for the province's science and technology development.
The Department of Science and Technology develops a plan to popularize digital skills for workers in enterprises and cooperatives.
Provincial police coordinate with community digital technology groups to strengthen guidance and popularize digital skills for people.
These instructions show Hung Yen's determination to strongly promote the digitalization process, towards a modern, efficient administration that better serves people and businesses.
