According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment (Standing Agency of the Steering Committee for the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province), by May 27, the whole province had started construction on 1,365/1,368 houses, accounting for 99.7%.
Of which, 631 new houses were built, 734 houses were repaired; 3 houses have not yet started construction (Van Lam district still has 2 houses because they are located within the clearance area of Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region, currently waiting for land allocation for resettlement; Hung Yen city still has 1 house because the land boundary has not been determined to start construction).
Currently, the whole province has 1,052 completed houses, accounting for nearly 77%, with 349 newly built houses and 703 repaired houses.
Tien Lu is a locality that has completed the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025. Districts with high completion rates are: Van Lam: 88.9%; An Thi: 81.2%; Khoai Chau district: 79.6%.
The total support fund given to households to build new houses and repair temporary and dilapidated houses is over 73.5 billion VND.
