At the conference, representatives of the two units focused on exchanging and discussing the topic "Handling crimes related to violations of the Road Traffic Law according to the criminal law of each country". This is a topic of practical significance in the context of this type of crime being complicated in recent times, causing bad consequences in society. Each serious traffic accident that occurs leaves behind much pain and loss, affecting the ability to work, and causing economic damage to the families of the victims as well as the person causing the accident.

In 2024, the Ratanakiri Provincial Court received 47 cases related to crimes and violations of road traffic laws. Of these, 23 cases are under investigation and 24 cases have been transferred to the trial stage.

Meanwhile, from October 1, 2024 to present, Gia Lai Provincial People's Court 2 has accepted and resolved 75 cases/79 defendants violating road traffic laws. Gia Lai Provincial People's Court alone accepted and resolved 14 cases/14 defendants during the above period.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of the two units said that cooperation and information exchange activities have helped the Courts of the two provinces have more opportunities to learn about the legal regulations of each country in handling criminal liability for crimes related to violations of the Road Traffic Law.
At the same time, through cooperation and information exchange on crime prevention and control, it has contributed to strengthening the spirit of solidarity and friendship between the two Courts in particular and the authorities and people of Gia Lai and Ratanakiri provinces in general.
At the conference, Mr. Pham Duy Lam - Chief Justice of Gia Lai Provincial People's Court and Mr. Ros Pi Sat - Chief Justice of Ratanakiri Provincial Primary Court represented the leaders of the Courts of the two provinces to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in crime prevention and control in 2025.
