'Taste of the sunny flower land' Quang Tri attracts more than 32,000 tourists

On July 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province reported on the results of the organization of the Flavors of the Land of Sunny Flowers culinary culture festival held at the Cua Viet Service - Tourism Area Square (Cua Viet Town, Gio Linh District).

Food festival in Quang Tri attracts more than 32,000 visitors

The festival, held for 3 days (July 12-14), attracted more than 32,000 visitors to visit, enjoy and experience the specialties of Quang Tri as well as many other provinces and cities across the country.

At the festival, Quang Tri province has 45 booths introducing to tourists many outstanding specialties such as Gio An pork tray, Mai Xa mussel vermicelli, Hai Lang rice porridge..., impressing tourists.

In addition to Vietnamese specialties, the festival also features typical foreign dishes.

In addition to decorating and displaying culinary products, the units also organize activities to attract tourists. The revenue of the booths is quite high, creating excitement for the traders. Some units with high revenue such as Saigon Tourist, Sepon Resort, Gio An pork tray, Dakrong cuisine... achieve revenue of 15 - 30 million VND/day.

At this year's festival, visitors can also experience international kite exchange activities in coordination with the Center for Kite Cultural Heritage Conservation (Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association) including 6 domestic and international kite artisan teams participating in the performance.
