Krong Bong District: Total production value in the first 9 months of 2023 is estimated at nearly 5,857 billion VND

On the morning of September 29, the People's Committee of Krong Bong district held a conference to review the situation and results of implementing socio -economic development tasks and ensuring national defense and security in the first 9 months of the year; deploying directions and tasks for the last 3 months of 2023.

In the first 9 months of the year, the socio-economic situation in the district continued to develop, people's lives were improved and enhanced. The total production value (at current prices) is estimated at nearly 5,857 billion VND, equal to 78.3% of the plan, up 8.9% over the same period in 2022; the budget revenue arising in the area is 52.4 billion VND, reaching 68.4% of the district's estimate, reaching 77.04% of the province's estimate. The total social investment and development capital reached 767.9 billion VND, equal to 85.47% of the plan, up 34.5% over the same period last year.

Irrigation ensures proactive irrigation for 83.06% of the crop area that needs irrigation, the rate of reinforced canals reaches 165.82 km; 80 km of district roads are asphalted and concreted; 9 new enterprises, 2 cooperatives and 145 business households are established. Up to now, there are 96 enterprises, 24 cooperatives and 2,280 business households; creating jobs for 1,910 people...

Many results were achieved in social fields; social security policies were fully and promptly implemented; national defense and security, social order and safety were maintained.

In the last months of 2023, the district will continue to review and grasp the quantity and operational status of enterprises and business households to organize correct, full and timely collection into the budget; exploit new revenue sources well; synchronously deploy measures to prevent budget loss and handle tax arrears; speed up the progress of auctioning land use rights in the district.

Along with that, continue to enhance the efficiency of credit institutions in lending capital for production development; well manage budget-using units, ensure strict and economical spending within the assigned budget; arrange expenditures to ensure funding for implementing important tasks, newly increased tasks in 2023 and implement the financial transparency regime according to regulations.

At the same time, continue to strictly implement solutions to promptly prevent deforestation, forest encroachment, exploitation, processing, trading and transportation of forest products and wild animals in the district; speed up site clearance to soon deploy investment in Hoa Son Industrial Cluster; promote the issuance of land use right certificates to households and individuals; strictly manage mineral exploitation activities in the area...
