Tri Ton district assesses socio-economic situation in May 2025

On the morning of May 29, the People's Committee of Tri Ton district held an expanded meeting of the People's Committee members to assess the socio-economic situation in May and deploy key tasks in the coming time. Chairman of the People's Committee of Tri Ton district Nguyen Van Be Tam chaired the meeting.

In May 2025, Tri Ton District People's Committee focused on leading and directing economic, cultural and social development, ensuring national defense and security. Accordingly, the winter-spring rice crop was completely harvested with a yield of 7.3 tons/ha, the summer-autumn crop was planted on 42,303ha, reaching 94.77% of the plan; the value of industrial and handicraft production reached nearly 49 billion VND, an increase of nearly 5% over the same period; budget revenue reached 112.7 billion VND. The political security situation, social order and safety were stable; cultural and social activities were widely deployed... In particular, the district has completed the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 with a total of 1,336 houses and has disbursed over 83.7 billion VND.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Nguyen Van Be Tam directed the sectors, units and localities in the coming time to focus on the management of public finance and assets; speed up the disbursement of works and projects. In addition, promptly complete the settlement records for transfer to the new administrative level; perform well the work of archiving, handing over and digitizing records; continue to strengthen solutions to resolve outstanding complaints and denunciations.

In particular, promptly and effectively guide and create consensus among the people in contributing and amending the Constitution; well prepare the settlement documents for the program to eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses and facilities for 5 new commune-level units that will come into operation from July 1, 2025.
