After completing her labor export trip, Neang Chanh Thuong (Tri Ton town) said that her family was previously poor, she did not have a stable job, and her life was difficult. In 2017, Neang Chanh Thuong decided to register to participate in labor export to Japan, working for a food processing company.
“The job brings in an income of 28 million VND/month. After deducting living expenses, I have 19-20 million VND left. The remaining amount, I send home to pay off the loan from the Social Policy Bank. After the end of my labor contract, I returned to my hometown with a savings of about 500 million VND. With this money, I repaired my house; opened a hair salon, beauty salon; and taught 5 local workers. Currently, my family's economy is very stable" - Neang Chanh Thuong shared.
Job consulting, labor export
It can be seen that exporting labor helps increase the income of workers after 3 years of working abroad. After returning home, workers can accumulate a relatively large amount of money, escape poverty, build spacious houses, and have a more prosperous life. At the same time, developing production and business, stabilizing the economy, creating more new jobs, contributing to solving employment for many local workers.
Based on that, Tri Ton district is determined to promote labor export. In 2025, the whole district strives to send at least 18 workers to work abroad under contracts; creating jobs for 6,730 local workers. Vice Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Tran Minh Giang said that the locality will continue to strengthen information, propaganda andeducation to raise awareness about the effectiveness of labor export.
In particular, raising people's vigilance against tricks of taking advantage of sending people to work abroad to defraud, causing negative impacts on public opinion and local security and order. Propaganda work is deployed on media, schools; banners, billboards; showing video clips at reception and result return points of the People's Committee at the commune level, Tri Ton District Children's House, on social networks. In propaganda, the district focuses on inviting workers or families with children who have gone to work abroad to set an example of "real people, real work", creating trust and peace of mind for workers who are planning to register. The Employment Service Center or labor export company is invited to provide information for workers to understand. At the same time, localities regularly visit households or directly contact workers, promptly grasp information and situations, to coordinate support, minimizing risks for workers...
“The work of sending workers to work abroad must put quality first, creating all favorable conditions to achieve the highest efficiency; not chasing after quantity. Therefore, Party committees, authorities, and socio-political organizations must identify job creation for workers as a key task associated with the socio-economic development tasks of localities and units. Commune-level People's Committees need to review and make a list of workers who want to work abroad, and specific measures to promote labor export in the area...” - Vice Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Tran Minh Giang requested.
