Hyundai Palisade Hybrid 2026 from 1.7 billion is about to arrive in Vietnam
The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid has just been officially launched in Indonesia, becoming the latest large hybrid SUV to join the electrified vehicle segment in Southeast Asia.

The newly launched 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid in Indonesia has a new, angular design, with a stronger and more modern style than the previous generation. The car is 5,065 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, 1,805 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,970 mm - ensuring spacious interior space for 3 rows of seats. The front of the new generation Hyundai Palisade Hybrid 2026 SUV impresses with block-shaped LED positioning lights placed along both sides of the large grille. The headlights are subtly hidden in the active grille.
From the side, the new Palisade is reminiscent of a Range Rover with its 21-inch alloy wheels and imposing stance. At the rear, the elongated taillights and wipers hidden under the spoiler add to the aesthetic appeal. Hyundai offers five exterior paint color options: Abyss Black Pearl, Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Shimmering Silver Metallic, Robust Emerald Pearl, and Creamy White Pearl. Inside, customers can choose from brown or black interior colors. The Palisade Hybrid's cabin is a bold Genesis design, blending modernity and luxury. Details such as the oval air-conditioning vents, round door handles and a 12.3-inch curved screen integrated seamlessly into the center console are reminiscent of high-end SUVs.
The gear lever is located behind the steering wheel – a modern design commonly found on new Hyundai models. The air conditioning and entertainment systems still retain physical buttons to optimize the user experience. The most notable highlight of the 2025 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid is the all-new powertrain. Instead of using a diesel engine as before, the car is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a Smartstream G 2.5 Turbo gasoline engine combined with an electric motor. Specifically, the 2,497 cc turbocharged direct-injection gasoline engine produces a combined output of 330 horsepower and a maximum torque of 460 Nm. The electric motor has a capacity of 54 kW (equivalent to 72 horsepower) and a torque of 264 Nm, accompanied by a 1.65 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. All versions of the Palisade Hybrid sold in Indonesia use this powertrain. The car has a total of 3 versions, with prices ranging from 1.105 to 1.359 million rupiah, equivalent to 1.77 - 2.17 billion VND. Specifically, the standard Signature version costs 1.105 million rupiah (about 1.77 billion VND), while the high-end Calligraphy version is listed at 1.274 million rupiah (over 2 billion VND).
The highest version Calligraphy AWD is priced at 1.359 million rupiah (2.17 billion VND). With a luxurious design, powerful engine and modern technology, Hyundai Palisade Hybrid is expected to become a formidable competitor in the large SUV segment in Southeast Asia. Most likely, the new generation Hyundai Palisade will also soon come to Vietnam. The old generation of Palisade is currently assembled in Vietnam and exported back to Thailand. This model has the lowest selling price in the segment, starting at just over 1.5 billion VND. Rivals of Palisade in Vietnam include Ford Explorer and Volkswagen Teramont.
