Honda CL STREET 2025 launched, nearly 272 million VND

Honda Motorcycle Taiwan has officially launched a new model called Honda CL Street, belonging to the large displacement motorcycle line.

The new Honda CL Street 2025 motorcycle model is developed based on the Honda Rebel 500 platform that is being officially distributed in Vietnam, a familiar bobber-style model.

However, to better suit the needs of dirt roads and light off-roading, the CL Street model has an upgraded suspension system, increased ground clearance and a higher exhaust position, helping the vehicle overcome obstacles more easily while still maintaining a stable center of gravity and reasonable weight distribution.

The vehicle's chassis uses the Steel Diamond Frame, similar to the Rebel 500, but the rear subframe is redesigned, helping to shorten the wheelbase to 1,485 mm (about 6 mm shorter than the Rebel 500).

The suspension system is also adjusted with front fork travel up to 150 mm (29 mm more than the Rebel 500) and rear shock absorbers reaching 145 mm (an increase of 49 mm), providing better support when moving on rough terrain.

The CL Street's braking system has also been upgraded. While the Rebel 500 uses 296 mm and 240 mm front and rear brake discs, the CL Street is equipped with a 310 mm front disc, which helps increase braking performance, especially when running at high speeds or off-road. The vehicle still uses 2-piston front brake calipers and 1-piston rear brake calipers like its Rebel sibling.

Another notable difference lies in the wheels. The Honda CL Street is equipped with uneven alloy wheels: 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, while the Rebel 500 uses 16-inch wheels for both wheels. This configuration helps the CL Street handle terrain better, while creating a strong, scrambler-like appearance.

The 2025 Honda CL Street in Taiwan is distributed with 3 color options: Mat Laurel Green Metallic, Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic and Matte Fresco Orange - a color version only available in the Taiwanese market.

The suggested retail price of the 2025 Honda CL Street in Taiwan is NT$308,000 - about VND272 million. It is predicted that this model will be difficult to sell officially in Vietnam because it has the same engine capacity as its "senior" Rebel 500.
