Interbus Lines supports the transportation of athletes for the Sapa Mountain Marathon

From tomorrow (September 22), the Mountain Marathon - VMM Sapa officially opens with the participation of 4,500 domestic and foreign athletes from 51 countries and territories around the world .

Interbus Lines supports the transportation of athletes participating in the Sapa Mountain Marathon.

The race is organized with 5 distances: 10 km, 21 km, 50 km, 70 km and 100 km passing through 12 communes and wards in Sapa town (wards of Cau May, Ham Rong, O Quy Ho, Phan Si Pang, Sa Pa, Sa Pa; communes of Ban Ho, Hoang Lien, Muong Hoa, Ta Phin, Ta Van and Thanh Binh).

In particular, at the 21 km distance, there was the participation of Mr. Nicolai Prytz - Danish Ambassador to Vietnam.

Along the VMM route, athletes will run through villages of many different ethnic minorities. Among them are the Red Dao, Black H'Mong and Giay ethnic groups.

The race attracted the participation of 4,500 domestic and foreign athletes.

To bring new and challenging experiences to athletes with many beautiful trails, the Organizing Committee has adjusted the route and running distance. Thanks to that, athletes will be able to admire more beautiful scenery.

This year, the 100 km distance will start in the center of Sa Pa town; the 42 km distance will be changed to 50 km; the 70 km distance will have more trails added and the altitude increased to give athletes more experience.

Athletes are excited to travel to Sapa to participate in the Sapa Mountain Marathon held tomorrow (September 22).

Mr. Pham Cao Vy, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Tourism Association, said that in order to best serve the event as well as meet the travel needs of athletes, Lao Cai Provincial Tourism Association has coordinated with Interbus Lines to support and serve tourists participating in the 120th anniversary of Sapa and athletes participating in the VMM 2023 tournament.

A representative of Interbus Lines said that being sponsored to transport a meaningful tourism event in Sapa is an honor for the company, thereby contributing to promoting the identity and culture of the land and people of Sapa in particular and of Vietnam in general.

The Mountain Marathon - VMM Sa Pa 2023 is one of the major activities celebrating 120 years of Sa Pa tourism this year (1903-2023) promising to bring interesting experiences to tourists, people and athletes.
