According to Allkpop, recently, Korean actor Ji Chang Wook held a fan meeting for a fashion brand in the Philippines. This is his first fan meeting event in 2 years since the "Reach You" meeting in 2022.
The actor opened the show with a performance of the song “Kissing You” - the soundtrack of “7 First Kisses”.
Before the Q&A session, Ji Chang Wook gave a short speech, thanking the fans for welcoming him: "It's been a long time since I've been to the Philippines. Thank you for coming after such a long time and also thank you for your warm welcome."
When asked if he has any upcoming projects, Chang Wook listed the films he has scheduled for this year, starting with the movie “Revolver” which will hit theaters on August 7.
He will also appear in the drama “The Queen Woo” co-starring Jeon Jong Seo, which is scheduled to be released on August 29 on the Tving platform. The crime action film “Gangnam B-Side” starring Ji Chang Wook, Jo Woo Jin, and Ha Yoon Kyung will be released on the Disney+ platform in the second half of this year.
Notably, Ji Chang Wook revealed that starting next month (September), he will participate in filming a new drama titled “Sculpture City”. This is a work that Ji Chang Wook collaborates with DO (EXO).
The film tells a story of bloody revenge, in which Ji Chang Wook plays a man who was living an ordinary life but suddenly fell into hell, after being manipulated by a force. He decides to return to take revenge on those who made him become like that.
“Sculpture City” is said to be a blockbuster drama with an investment budget of up to 35 billion won, undertaken by the film division of CJ ENM.
Also during the fan meeting, Ji Chang Wook answered many other questions from the audience and shared them on social networks.
A fan asked for advice because he is too shy, Ji Chang Wook confessed that he is a bit shy when it comes to giving advice to people, but the actor said: "The important thing is to be yourself and find people who like you. You don't really have to try so hard for people to like you. I think just being yourself is enough."
Then, someone asked Ji Chang Wook “how to succeed in both work and study and balance them”, the actor shared: “I believe there are many things that are really difficult. But enjoying what you do is the most important”.
When a fan asked about how to impress others, Ji Chang Wook admitted that this was also something he thought about, but the actor said: “Actually, I don’t really try to impress others. I’m the type of person who wants to bring happiness, comfort, and rest to others. That’s what I’m trying to do. It’s not possible for everyone, but there has to be someone I can be that way for.”
