JSOL and HURRYKNG challenge the "Brothers Say Hi" group: "It's not easy to beat the two of us."

On the afternoon of September 16th, JSOL, known for his hit song "Anh trai say hi" (Brother Says Hi), officially released his mini-album "Oe Oe" and the music video for "Laziness ," a collaboration with HURRYKNG and TikToker CiiN. This is the male singer's debut mini-album after 8 years in the entertainment industry.

The "brothers" estimate JSOL's album is worth over 20 billion VND.

The mini-album Oe Oe contains a total of 6 songs, including "Stick Your Eyes," "Lazy," "Roll of Yarn," "Not You, Not Anyone Else," "Knowing the Truth," and "Genie ." The songs have bright melodies, lighthearted lyrics, and relatable themes, showcasing the fun and witty style characteristic of JSOL's music .

Explaining the somewhat unusual album title, the singer shared: "I wanted this mini-album to have an energy like me, a little naive and cheerful, but I couldn't think of a name for it. One day, I messaged 'oe oe' on my broadcast channel to greet my fans. After that, I came up with the idea to name the album that way."

Furthermore, it was also the cry of birth, symbolizing my first album, my first 'brainchild'."

Notably, among the 6 songs, "Laziness" featuring HURRYKNG was chosen as the title track of the mini-album.

The title "Laziness" is a play on words combining "laziness" and "love net," conveying the pleasant laziness in love, when you love someone so much that you're willing to do anything for them.

Having previously collaborated on "Brother Says Hi" and continuing to work together in the group Mopius, HURRYKNG said he agreed to collaborate with JSOL as soon as he heard the first demo.

Impressed by the catchy melody and interesting idea, he even urged JSOL to send the demo immediately so he could write his part. However, it wasn't until more than a month later that HURRYKNG actually sat down to start the songwriting process.

"It was quite busy at the time, everyone. My schedule was so packed that I didn't have time to work on this song. After JSOL urged me, I hurriedly worked on it and finished it within a day," - HURRYKNG humorously explained.

When asked if the other members of Mopius reacted to JSOL and HURRYKNG going solo, HURRYKNG said that Quang Hung MasterD and Duong Domic were both very happy to see them release a music video together.

Speaking about the possibility of the other two members collaborating in a similar way, JSOL and HURRYKNG boldly challenged: "That's difficult, it's not easy to do it like the two of us."

Even though the first season of "Brother Says Hi" ended more than a year ago, the bond between the members remains strong. Not only do they support each other on social media, but the "brothers" also frequently appear at each other's music events.

During the Q&A session with the audience, Anh Tú Atus, JSOL's "older brother," showered him with praise for his mini-album and unexpectedly revealed, "I guess the entire mini-album must cost around 20 billion VND," causing the audience to burst into laughter.

JSOL, whose real name is Nguyen Thai Son, was born in 1997. He first gained attention on social media thanks to many cover videos , including a clip of him singing Huong Tram's "Em Gai Mua" (Rainy Girl ), and officially debuted with the song "Lang" (Silence ).

2024 was a major turning point when JSOL participated in the show "Brother Says Hi ". Although he didn't make it into the Best Five to debut in a group, he still left a strong impression with his talent, looks, and adorably naive personality, earning the love of the audience.
