K+ signs exclusive agreement with Asian Football Confederation in Vietnam

The agreement with AFC covers more than 25 competitions, highlighted by the clash of 18 leading Asian nations in the race for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, as well as the top club competition the AFC Champions League and the AFC's new second-tier competition (now known as the AFC Cup).

Furthermore, the men's national team matches as well as the 2027 AFC Asian Cup final will be covered on traditional, free-to-air channels with wide reach in the country.

The agreement with AFC affirms K+ as the leading brand in broadcasting sports content in Vietnam.

In Vietnam, K+ is positioned as the leading television brand broadcasting sports content, with exclusive rights to major tournaments such as the Premier League, Formula 1 racing, UFC martial arts, LIV Golf, Australian Open tennis and ATP. Owning the copyright of AFC tournaments affirms K+'s commitment to local content in particular and sports in general through long-term cooperation with Vietnamese and Asian football.

Mr. Manuel Rougeron, Executive Vice President of CANAL+ International, in charge of the Asia- Pacific market, affirmed: “ We are very happy and look forward to bringing to Vietnamese sports fans the top Asian football matches with the most outstanding quality. This is a new step forward for K+ and at the same time affirms our solid position in Vietnam .”
