The sea embankment protecting Vinh Tien village is being constructed ahead of schedule.

The investment project to build a protective embankment for Vinh Tien village, Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district was approved by the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province in 2021, with a total investment of VND 195 billion 857 million.

Dozens of machines and workers are working.

In November, at the construction site of the Vinh Tien village embankment, there were more than 100 workers, engineers and dozens of machines of all kinds organizing the construction. The embankment project is 2,532 m long, with drainage, traffic roads on the top of the embankment, roads up and down the embankment roof and embankment locks. The project started construction in early 2024, constructed by Thoi Binh Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company. According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Agricultural and Rural Development in Binh Thuan province, after more than 10 months of construction of the embankment project to protect Vinh Tien village, Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district, 1,932/2,532 m of the embankment project has been completed. Currently, the section from km 0 to km 0+600 is being cleared, and the section from km 0+600 to km 2,532 is trying to be completed by the end of 2024. The capital plan allocated from the beginning of the project in the year was nearly 145,388 billion VND, and to date the cumulative disbursement is more than 110,948 billion VND, reaching 76% of the capital plan. According to the plan, the project is expected to be completed in June 2025. With construction and disbursement meeting and exceeding the schedule, the project is contributing to increasing the province's public investment disbursement source.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhat - Commander at the construction site said: The construction unit has focused on human resources and construction machinery day and night to complete the project soon to ensure the company's reputation as well as meet the local demand for early operation of the project. With the current construction progress and no obstacles from storms and floods, the project is expected to be completed around April 2025, 2 months earlier than the contract.
