
Literary and artistic works of great scale, stature and profound ideological value, lasting in the hearts of the public, have always been the creative aspiration of the province's artists. This is also the goal that the Bac Kan Provincial Literature and Arts Association (VHNT) aims for when launching the Campaign. Composing and promoting Bac Kan Literature and Arts works (called the Campaign).

Therefore, the propaganda and promotion of the Campaign was carried out seriously, attracting a large number of artists of many ages, ethnicities and regions. Within just one year, more than 330 works in the fields of Short Stories, Memoirs - Notes, Photography, Poetry, and Music were sent to participate. Not only members of the Bac Kan Provincial Literature and Arts Association, many authors who are members of Central professional associations and collaborators from all over the provinces such as Quang Ninh, Lai Chau, Lang Son, Kon Tum, Ho Chi Minh City ... also participated, bringing with them rich perspectives on Bac Kan.
At the closing and award ceremony , the authors expressed their joy when their “brainchildren” were recognized. Moreover, this is also a strong motivation for artists to continue to devote themselves and create.

Standing out among the participating majors, Photography dominated with more than 200 works. From the frames, the nature and people of Bac Kan appear vividly and attractively: Ba Be Lake in the middle of the vast forest, traditional festivals filled with colors, the radiant smiles of the highland people...
Author Ngo Duc Mich won the A prize with a series of photos of the Festival at Ba Be Lake and Bowl Dance. Looking at those photos, one can hear the sound of gongs echoing through the mountains and forests, and feel each step of the traditional dance. The author shared: “As soon as the campaign was launched, my fellow photographers and I were very excited. Bac Kan has so much material to create, each photo is not only a moment, but also a story about the people and this land”.
Along with authors in the province, the Campaign has attracted photographers from other provinces. Names such as Bui Khac Thien, Au Ngoc Ninh (Thai Nguyen), Doan Viet Hung ( Bac Giang ) have contributed to bringing new perspectives on Bac Kan.

According to the Organizing Committee, the works participating in the campaign all closely follow the theme "A common Vietnamese foundation". Although the quality of the works varies, in general, they all reflect and honor the achievements, history, cultural depth, natural beauty, and identity of the land and people of Bac Kan; at the same time, they demonstrate the spirit and momentum of the people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Through each work, the image of Bac Kan today, rich in patriotism, love for the homeland and strong national identity, appears vividly, showing the strong changes and development of the locality on the journey forward.
Besides photography, literary works also left a deep impression. Nguyen Thuy Tien, a writer from Lai Chau, traveled nearly 600km to attend the award ceremony. Her short story "Under the foot of Pac Ngoi mountain" won the B prize, bringing a gentle, simple perspective on life and people by Ba Be lake.
Mr. Duong Van Phong, Chairman of the Bac Kan Province Literature and Arts Association, who has accompanied the campaign since its inception, highly appreciated the authors’ investment in the works. “This campaign is not only a literary and artistic event but also an opportunity for us to look back on the development of our homeland. Through each page, each frame, each melody, Bac Kan appears with all its beauty. and its vitality," said Mr. Duong Van Phong.

At the end of the Campaign, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 A prize, 5 B prizes, 9 C prizes and 9 Encouragement prizes to the best works. The Campaign has contributed to spreading love for the homeland, national pride and solidarity. Regardless of genre, each work is a way of telling a story about Bac Kan, about the country, about the Vietnamese people on the journey to the future.
The exhibition left a lasting impression more than awards or solemn ceremonies. It was the continuation of a quiet, persistent flow of creativity, the footsteps of artists imprinted on every field and mountainside of Bac Kan. Although there are still concerns about the quality and quantity of works, above all, the movement has aroused love for the homeland in every word, melody, and image. And those seeds will continue to sprout, grow, and extend the journey of beautifying Bac Kan and the country through art.../.
