End of activities of Labor Federations of districts and cities

BHG - Implementing the directions of the Central and the province on the arrangement of the political system, up to now, 11 district and city Labor Federations have completed their activities on schedule.

Ha Giang Health Sector Trade Union summarizes the period 1991-2025, ending the activities of the Industry Trade Union.

Accordingly, the activities of 11 district and city labor federations and 981 grassroots unions, managing 23,943 union members, ended. There were 30 full-time union officials managed by the District and City Party Committees assigned to work in communes and wards, and 3 officials worked at the Provincial Labor Federation. After the end of activities, all levels of unions strictly performed the tasks of closing accounting books, inventorying assets, and reconciling debts and handing them over to the Provincial Labor Federation. Along with that, 130 grassroots unions and 6,356 union members who were not subject to the end of activities were transferred to the Provincial Labor Federation for direct management. Up to now, the Health Sector Union has ended its activities, completing the arrangement of 1/3 of the sectoral unions in the province.

Thus, after the end of the activities of the district and city labor federations, industry unions and grassroots unions in agencies, units and public services receiving 100% of the State budget salary, the provincial labor federation will reduce 14 grassroots union units directly above the grassroots level, reduce 1,096 grassroots unions, and reduce 29,859 union members. Thereby, ensuring the progress of the organization and operation of the union at all levels, creating a turning point, a premise for building a strong, flexible and practical union organization.
